Delaware Park – 7th race – 6-Private Client (7/2)

Has finished second in both of her career outings to next-out winners and seems more than ready to graduate today in this maiden turf two-turner for fillies and mares.  Can really turn it on late and with any kind of racing luck this Proctor-trained daughter of Kitten’s Joy should be along in plenty of time.  There’s plenty of value in the straight pool and in rolling exotic play at her morning line of 7/2 if you can get it.

Belmont Park – 9th race – 6-Dig Deep (9/2)

Got a strong feeling this son of Candy Ride is really going to take to the turf, and he gets his first chance today in the Manilla Stakes over a flat mile.  The stakes-winning three-year-old has excellent tactical speed and should draft into an ideal pace-stalking trip outside.  Genuine and versatile, the Alan Goldberg-trained sophomore has powerful main track numbers that, if repeat on turf, will be good enough to handle this assignment.  Let’s hope we can get close to his morning line of 9/2.
