  • Returns to previous trainer Richard Baltas and may improve.
  • Past classer shows a recent bullet breeze at San Luis Rey Downs.
  • Main concern is his lack of previous success over local lawn.

SECOND RACE – Post: Post: 12:29 PT

Degree of confidence: C

• Likely the quickest in the field but is always suspect late.
• Main track has strongly favored speed early in the meet.
• First start over at Santa Anita. will appreciate the bias.

Others to consider: 1-Grazen in the Sun.


THIRD RACE – Post: 12:59 PT

Degree of confidence: B-

• Has had 12 chances and is hard to trust but has little to beat.
• Lands the favorable inside draw; will enjoy a ground saving trip.
• Not a quick type but should be sent early to preserve the rail.

FOURTH RACE – Post: 1:29 PT

Degree of confidence: A-

• Finally made it to the post late in her 3yo season and galloped.
• Earned a strong speed figure and was never asked for her best.
• Going through her conditions while taking one victory at a time.

FIFTH RACE – Post: 2:04 PT

• Loved her starters allowance win over a mile, shortens up today.
• In the frame in eight of nine career starts, genuine and consistent.
• Holds a distinct advantage on speed figures and retains Hernandez.

• Los Alamitos-based veteran remains above his claim level.
• Exiting a series of better races, should be on or near the lead.
• Has run well over this main track in the past, as good as any.

• Overmatched in Matriarch Stakes, back with own age group today.
• Was rated off the pace in last start; prefers front running tactics.
• Pace projection looks highly favorable, certain to be a short price.

• First try routing but his pedigree suggests he’ll handle the trip.
• Been beaten just once in four starts to the talented Hejazi.
• Bullet workout (5f, :58.3h) was the fastest of 89 for the distance.
