Worried that the 5-2 shot #3 Memorize may bounce after a (near) career best 68 Beyer in last and comes back in a little over 2 weeks .
#5 Four K’s 2-1 ~TOP PICK ~ Will be bet like it too, although Ward not in the win column yet ( but close ). 74 career high Beyer at GP for this lightly race 5 year old, TREAD LIGHTLY .
#6 Pocket Candy 8-1 ~ LONG SHOT ~ I believe this 5 year old by Twirling Candy may be best with the blinkers off and allowed to settle here ( see maiden breaker ) . Herb Miller 50% blinkers off ( from a small sample). Comes back in a week on the drop and Herb has done this before.
Race 5) Turf 1 Mile|3Md Sp Wt 45k|Purse: $45k|
Plenty of ways to go in this wide open maiden race. Some good pedigrees here too.
#3 Pop a Choc 7-2 ~ TOP PICK ~ Draws more favorably here, 2/12 rather than 12/12. She didn’t have a dream trip into the first turn, but showed some moxy to take the lead and tire late in the one mile debut. Filly comes back with a pure maintenance work, leggy sort gets hot in the am. Her graded stakes winning 1/2 brother Airoforce did much the same. Adds Lasix and has speed to ensure a good trip with rails all the way out to the Pegasus Statue!

#12 Talking Book 4-1 ~closed resolutely in debut to split the field, typical for a McGaughey runner. I absolutely loved her dam Mumbo Jumbo when she was running for the late Mike Zweisler. Filly is a 1/2 to G3 winner Texting. Shug hits at 21% 2nd out!

Really tough for me to choose between the 3 listed below ~ and yes if there is a fence I like to sit on it !
#5 No Word 3-1 professional debut last August at Saratoga. Thrown into to G3 company and threaded the needle to finish 2 1/4 lengths shy of BC JUV Turf winner Structor! Good enough for me. 1/2 Brother to G2 winner Silento.
#12 Life on Top 15-1 ~LONG SHOT Ran a muncher better than looked 7th last out in the G3 Palm Beach, and comes in with a solid work. Gets a capable apprentice to give him 5lb off !

#8 Patrol 6-1 has done nothing wrong . One start, one win, now stretches out around two turns and tries turf for the first time . Judging by his works, he has a nice long lofty action I feel will move him up on Turf.

#3 All Quality 6-1 ~TOP PICK ~LOVE LOVE this filly. Beautiful leggy daughter of Quality Road was beaten a scant 2 lengths in 2020 debut after trailing the field and encountering much trouble the last 1/8 of a mile …its so important to WATCH THE REPLAYS ~ have sneaky feeling she won’t be 6-1 tho , comes in with a snappy work too .
