Belmont Park – 7th race – 6-Stormy Victoria (4-1)

Makes her U.S. debut in a second-level allowance event after facing much stronger company in a series of races in France last year.  The Clement-trained import has trained like she’s fit and ready at Payson Park for a barn that often scores first time out with European invaders, and this daughter of Stormy River today will have the benefit of Lasix and Rosario. Has a history of firing fresh and anything close to her best effort looks good enough to handle this assignment.  There’s plenty of value here at her 4-1 morning line if you can get it.

Keeneland – 9th race – 5-Songoficeandfire (8-1)

Was arguably best when beaten in the Orchid S.-G3 last month, overcoming traffic trouble at the head of the lane to finish fastest of all but too late when second to Photo Call while earning a career top speed figure.  It was just her second start off a long layoff so we’ll assume the daughter of Dynaformer has another forward move in her in today’s Bewitch S.-G3.  She already shown winning form over this mile and one-half trip and a bullet workout since raced for Mott should have her spot for a winning performance.  Let’s hope to get close to her 8-1 morning line in both the exotics and in the straight pool.
